I don’t know if anybody realized this, but next to Chris’s face is a fully grown chicken… is that Emperor Zell? I have a faint memory of Aqua feeding Zell a growth potion from “Moi Shop” that makes the user bald in exchange for magical power (which I think is explained to make Zell grow) around volume 15, but I can’t quite remember if that is correct.

The potion Aqua used was the one that increased your levels but decreased your magic power. Emperor Zell was said to have a lot of magic power which slowed down its growth that’s why Aqua gave it the potion.
